Readback Deposition Services – ADA Compliance Statement

Readback Deposition Services is committed to full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and to ensuring that all deposition services are accessible to individuals with disabilities. We take proactive steps to provide equal access and effective communication for all participants, including witnesses, attorneys, and other parties.

Our remote deposition services are conducted using the Zoom platform, which is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards. Zoom provides a range of accessibility features, including screen reader compatibility, closed captioning capabilities, keyboard navigation, and video pinning to support sign language interpreters.

To ensure ADA compliance in all proceedings, Readback Deposition Services implements the following practices:

  • Effective Communication: We provide reasonable accommodations to ensure clear and effective communication. This includes arranging for qualified sign language interpreters, closed captioning services when requested, and ensuring that all participants can fully engage in the proceeding.
  • Interpreter Integration: When interpreters are required, we ensure they are properly integrated into the virtual deposition environment, including pinning the interpreter’s video feed so it remains clearly visible to participants who rely on it.
  • Accessible Technology: Our use of Zoom supports participants who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers or keyboard navigation, helping ensure equitable access in virtual settings.
  • Accessible Transcripts: Deposition transcripts can be provided in accessible electronic formats compatible with assistive technologies, and alternative formats can be arranged upon request.
  • Reasonable Modifications: We are prepared to make reasonable adjustments to scheduling, procedures, or format to accommodate specific needs, including allowing breaks or other necessary modifications.
  • Virtual Accessibility: For all remote depositions, we ensure that the technology platform and process are accessible to individuals with hearing, vision, speech, or mobility impairments.

Readback Deposition Services recognizes its obligations under Titles II and III of the ADA and is dedicated to preventing discrimination based on disability by providing inclusive, accessible, and professional deposition services.

For specific accommodation requests or questions regarding accessibility, we encourage clients to contact us in advance so we can ensure all necessary arrangements are in place.
